Editor’s Take: The future of Congress Park pickleball courts is very much uncertain. The plan to move and expand the courts to allow for noise abatement was put on hold, and the courts are closed until further notice, although the funds are still allocated so there is still hope that the original plans will move forward at some point, and the local community will continue to reap the benefits of the healthy sport in the center of the city.
